Padanna is a panchayath in the northern part of the state of Kerala, India, south of Kasaragod district. Padanna Panchayath is composed of North and South Padanna villages. It became part of Kerala when the state was formed on November 1, 1956.
Religion
Residents of Padanna include Hindus, Muslims, and Christians. The main holy sites are Padanna Juma Masjid, Sree Mundya Temple, Town Miouddeen Masjid, and many other masjid and temples.
